This is so me after coming home from work everyday 😂
Anyway, in this entry I would like to share about Paperfish, a restaurant that specializes in serving a Hawaiian classic: Poké bowls; fused with inspirations from local Malaysian ingredients and spices. FYI, Poké means to slice or cut in Hawaiian.
Paperfish TTDI
Located in an area packed with various selections of F&B outlets in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI for short), Paperfish is a restaurant with a unique and fresh concept that highlights that healthy eating can be delicious and fulfilling too. For those who are looking for someplace healthy after a workout or maybe wanted to try something new, please do try Paperfish for a change.
What's best about Paperfish?
You can savour their specialty Poké bowls made with premium seasoned sashimi and topped it off with an amazing array of veggies before topping it off with unlimited yummy toppings. Price-wise, it may seem a teeny bit pricey at a glance but it is still affordable and very reasonable with the portion size and the quality of the ingredients.

Outer Dining Area
Upon arriving at the front of the restaurant, you'll notice some tables for the outer dining area and on your left, LOTS of colourful fish origami decorated the wall. Messages left by previous happy customers were written on them. Feel free to write down a simple message on the colourful wall using the coloured pens provided.
Not into writing anything? You can pose for selfies or two for your Instagram with the origami wall as your colourful background. 😍📷

The restaurant's bright and clean surroundings are very calm and inviting.

And now for the best part... FOOD!
The counter
Here at Paperfish, you can choose which star ingredient that you want in your own Poké bowl. Be it Salmon, Tuna or Shrimp, you can choose one of them. You'll be spoilt for choice since they do have their own signature marinade for certain star ingredient 😍. As for vegan and vegetarians, fret not because there is a special option just for you 😊👍
How to order?
1. Choose ONE item from the menu at the counter. They have about 10 selections on their menu including a vegetarian option 😍. Not sure what to choose? Feel free to ask the staff for recommendations. They will be very happy to assist you 😊👍

2. Next, state your choice of sauce. The staff will ask you whether you would want Shoyu Sauce, Wasabi Mayo, Spicy Sriracha, Garlic Mayo or no sauce at all. You can either choose certain sauces or you can simply mix it up. My personal favourites are Shoyu Sauce, Spicy Sriracha and lots of Garlic Mayo 😍
3. Then, choose one base. You can choose white rice, brown rice, baby greens. Quinoa is also available for RM6. My personal favourite is the brown rice.
4. After you have selected your menu (main ingredient), sauce and base, you can choose up to FOUR sides for your Poké bowl. Paperfish has an appetizing array of yummy sides ranging from colourful veggies, sweet corn kernels, edamame, kimchi, olives, chuka wakame (seaweed), beans, nuts to egg shreds and egg slices. You can choose whatever you want and if your favourite side item is there, feel free to ask for more. Premium sides such as crispy salmon skin and chuka idako (seasoned baby octopus) are available for RM5 per side.

5. Next, the staff will place your chosen main ingredient into your Poké bowl. Feel free to ask for more he he he 😘👍 For me, I've asked for more salmon 😍

6. As a finishing touch, the staff will add toppings of your choice. Choose whatever toppings that are available from the selection as they are UNLIMITED ranging from sesame seeds, spring onions, crispy fried shallots, pickled radish, pickled ginger, seaweed flakes and more.

7. Proceed to the cashier for payment. All payments are done in CASH terms ONLY. Meanwhile, you can order your drinks. Choice of drinks including bottled teas, bottled fruit juices, vitamin water, mineral water and fresh coconut. You could even add on a bowl of miso soup for a complete hearty meal.
8. Take your customised Poké bowl and drinks to your table and ENJOY 😍👍

Overall, my dining experience at Paperfish is AWESOME 👍
I really, really enjoyed the affordable and reasonably-priced, healthy Poké bowls especially the Spicy Salmon. 😍
The staff are friendly and very helpful and the restaurant ambiance is calm and cozy. 😊
Paperfish is a great place to enjoy yummy, healthy meals with your friends and family and also a good place for that post-workout meals. 💪😁
