I hope that you are doing great as always.
I would also like to wish Happy Eid or Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to those who are celebrating around the world. 😍
Of course, when it comes to festivities, there will be a LOT of food. 😂

Anyway, for this entry I would like to introduce CHIZU & HONZU. CHIZU is a shop that specializes in creating unique beverages made from Japanese Cheese combined with various types of coffee or tea whereas HONZU is a shop which highlights their specialty croissants with a creative twist. Couldn't get both of them? That's where CHIZU & HONZU arrives, bringing the best of both worlds under one roof 👍
CHIZU & HONZU, NU Sentral |
Located on the 4th floor of KL Sentral's NU Sentral Mall, CHIZU & HONZU is a place where you can get your croissant cravings satisfied 😍. Feeling unique and adventurous? Give CHIZU's unique Japanese Cheese drinks a try 😙.
Upon arriving at the cafe, you'll be greeted by HONZU's sign with the menu on display below it. Underneath them are the appetizing array of HONZU's specialty croissants. You can take a quick look before deciding your pick. If you're only here for the drinks, you can go straight for CHIZU's counter and make your order from there.
This cafe is bright and cozy with simple yet chic decorations. Wooden frames are used instead of actual walls, giving this cafe a nice, roomy atmosphere. As for seating areas, there are actually 4 seating areas: outer seating area, main seating area, private seating area and power socket area.

Furthermore, CHIZU & HONZU also have their own array of scrumptious cakes and desserts. 😋

So, what have I ordered?
Since CHIZU & HONZU specializes in croissants, well, that's precisely what I've ordered 👍
- Original Croissant - Good ol' flaky and buttery croissant. 😊
- Japanese Cheese Croissant - Topped with a creamy cheesy topping. Hints of subtle salty sweetness makes this particular croissant a yummy choice. Cheese lovers would enjoy this 😘
- Salted Mentaiko Croissant - Brushed with salted mentaiko (pollock fish roe). It is not too salty but the savoury taste reminds me of the ocean. 🐟
- Cheddar Cheese Croissant - Topped with a creamy and tangy cheddar cheese swirl sprinkled with dried chives. I really like this one 😘👍 A must have for cheese lovers 💛
- Garlic Cream Croissant - Brushed with tasty garlic cream and garnished with parsley flakes. OMG!!! This is so my FAVOURITE choice 😍👍 It is delicious as the garlic is not too overpowering. Any garlic bread fans? This croissant is the perfect substitute for those who wanted to switch up their garlic bread game. A lovely accompaniment to piping hot soups on a rainy day 💗
- Dark Chocolate Croissant - Topped with dark chocolate and garnished with almonds and white chocolate drizzle. I like this because it is not too sweet. Perfect for a light sweet finish after gobbling down savoury treats 😆👍
My pick? Definitely the Garlic Cream Croissant 💗💗💗
As for drinks, I've settled down with something light and refreshing after devouring savoury and creamy croissants. 😉👍
So, what have I selected?
Super Season Fruit Tea |
All drinks at CHIZU & HONZU come in environmentally-friendly adorable cups.
No straws needed. 👍 This refreshing drink has hints of tropical passionfruit and infused with real fruits for extra burst of fruity flavours: calamansi lime, red apples and watermelon. A great drink to cool you down on a hot day or after eating that piping hot bowl of oden 😆👍
Overall, my dining experience at CHIZU & HONZU is great. 😊👍
The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. 😋
The staffs are kind and helpful and the cafe's ambiance is calm and bright. 👍
CHIZU & HONZU is a good place to chill after a tiring day of shopping, hanging out with your friends, enjoying a quiet date with your beloved or just simply for having a quality me-time.
It is also a good place for organizing a cupsleeve event for Kpop fan groups 👍
Thank you CHIZU & HONZU for the great experience.
Will definitely visit you again for the yummy croissants. 😋👍
