A lot has happened throughout these years; I've managed to graduate and currently working now.
Due to my packed schedule, I couldn't post as regularly as before... but I'll try to post new updates whenever I have the time (and resources 😂)

In this entry, I would like to present you... MY DIM SUM.
Newly-opened this year, this eatery is the GO-TO for its YUMMY HALAL DIM SUM at Setapak Central Mall (previously known as KL Festival City), Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
What's best about MY DIM SUM?
You can enjoy their scrumptious, bite-sized gems without burning a hole in your wallet.
That's right! All of the items on their menu are AFFORDABLE and even their portion sizes are REASONABLE and SATISFYING; perfect for lunch and dinner.
MY DIM SUM, Setapak Central Mall
This cozy restaurant is very welcoming and lively with large mirrors and bright lighting, giving a spacious feel. Tantalizing photos of their specialties hung on the wall, attracting customers with their tempting image. Bamboo steamers, cute teapots and teacups add a classic, oriental touch to this restaurant simplistic yet modern deco.

True to its name, MY DIM SUM specializes in AFFORDABLE, HALAL DIM SUM.
Steamed? Fried? They got it 😍
These yummy treats can be enjoyed in the restaurant itself or via takeaways. You can even steam or fry them in the comfort of your own kitchen too since they also sell the frozen versions as well.
Want to try something else? You can choose from their selection of rice rolls, porridge, noodles and rice. Their dessert selection is also interesting. They even have a selection of signature drinks despite having a limited variety of beverages.
How to place your order?
After browsing through the menu provided on the table, you can fill in your order in the order chit on provided. Pass the chit to the waiters/staff.
Not sure what to order? Feel free to ask the waiters/staff; they will be happy to assist you.

So what have I ordered?
Minced Beef-Egg Rice Roll
Minced beef, egg and scallions mixture folded inside a batter made out of rice flour over a light sauce. A special dipping sauce is served alongside with this dish.
Crystal Dumpling 'Har Gao'
Prawn-filled dumplings steamed to perfection. The sweetness of the prawns will embrace your palate as soon as you sink your teeth in these cute morsels 👍
Siew Mai 'King'
Also known as chicken and mushroom dumplings. This particular dim sum is definitely my must-have 👍 For first-timers, this is the best option for you.
Black Pepper Siew Mai
The slightly spicier version of the Siew Mai 'King'. If you love anything with black pepper or something with a little bit of heat, then this dish is the one for you.
Shanghai Red Oil Dumpling
Filled with prawns and chicken, the dumplings are steamed and served in a special 'red' oil consisting of chili oil, dark vinegar and sesame oil. Chopped scallions gave a nice colour contrast against the red oil and the white dumplings. Fried minced garlic adds extra crunch and flavour to this spicy and zesty dish. This is also one of my top favourites from the menu. If you prefer spicy dumplings, this dish is perfect for you 😋
Pan-fried Shanghai Dumpling
These chicken and prawn-filled dumplings are slightly steamed first and later pan-fried. Great with chili sauce. Eat it while its hot. This is definitely one of my must-have 👍
Pan-fried Shrimp Rolls in Beancurd Skin
OMG!!! This is SOOOO GOOD!!! 😍 Succulent sweet shrimps wrapped in beancurd skin and deep-fried until golden brown and crispy. Served with creamy mayo. Be careful while eating this, the filling is still piping hot! Also one of my must-have 💕
Fried Squid Tentacles with Salt and Pepper
Squid lovers rejoice! Fresh squid tentacles dipped in batter seasoned with salt and pepper and fried until golden. Garnished with chopped scallions and crunchy fried garlic.
As for beverages, MY DIM SUM also has a selection of signature drinks despite having limited options. They also have a unique selection of desserts.

Overall, my dining experience at MY DIM SUM restaurant is great 👍
The food is delicious and fulfilling with affordable pricing and reasonable portion sizes. 😋
The waiters/waitresses are helpful and friendly. The cafe ambiance is good and cozy. 😊
MY DIM SUM is a great place to sit down with your beloved, family and friends for lunch and dinner and a good place to chill after a shopping spree. 😄
